"Extremely friendly staff who were patient with our basic French and very happy to find us a table when it seemed busy. Food is good but not great, what you would expect from a restaurant in central tourist area. Set menus are good value - €21 Baked goats cheese / monkfish / walnut cake (very nice); €24 foie gras / steak (very good) / crème brûlée. Large portion of bolognaise for the children’s menu."

"Great place for our evening meal with historic views in every direction. We both ate off fixed price menus- different ones. Very tasty. Good choice of excellent wines and we chose Bergerac which was delicious. This is such a pretty town it would be an awful shame not to be eating in a beautiful side street, outside in the 30+ degree shade. The dog was slightly driven mad by the smell of duck from all directions but very happy with her nice bowl of water. Quality food and drink- 3 courses for €68 for two- great value. Thank you."

"So good we returned to dine here the following night. I highly recommend the le beouf Rossini. Steak on top of crispy roast style potatoes cooked in herbs and garlic in a creamy sauce. Friendly service and our dog was a welcomed as much as we were. Good value for money and the wine very good too."
